BryceTech is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide office and leadership support to an OSD office at the Pentagon. This role focuses on support to the office Director and office management.  This position requires in-person support daily.

• Supports the Director by handling a wide variety of situations involving the administrative functions of the office that do not need the Director’s attention. 
• Maintains suite security and supports operations including submitting parking, working with building management, conducting burn bag runs, submitting visit requests.
• Contacts or replies to contacts from high-ranking individuals, which may involve unique situations that must be handled differently, using judgment and discretion.

Typical Functions:

• Manages and briefs Director’s calendar daily.  Must always maintain situational awareness of Director’s Calander and deconflict with the calendars of Director’s leadership and conference rooms.
• Act as the office action officer for taskers within Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS), maintaining awareness of active tasks, proactively identifying new tasks, and documenting actions and close out.
• Manages Director’s travel through Defense Travel System (DTS) and develops trip packages, briefs the Director, and troubleshoots as needed.
• Organizes and arranges for staff members to represent organization at meetings and engagements, using own initiative.
• Notes commitments made by executives during meetings and arranges for staff implementation.
• In director’s absence, ensures that requests for action or information are relayed to the appropriate staff member.
• Interprets requests, helps implement action, and decides whether executive should be notified of important or emergency matters as needed.
• Prepares correspondence, monthly reports, and office response to RFIs.

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of relevant experience supporting Pentagon office or similar environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated experience with SharePoint, CATMS, and DTS
• Familiarity with federal government contracting.
• Top Secret Clearance
