Executive Chef 1 - Sodexo

Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 1 to join our team at Stirling Conference Center and Cafe located in the Pan American building in New Orleans LA. The current food landscape consists 1 cafe and catering operations.

The Executive Chef 1 will be the lead culinary person on site. Duties will include but not limited to:

• Menu planning
• Ordering
• Inventory
• hands on about 80% of the time
• Food and Labor cost
• Leading and developing a team of 10 hourly employees with the AGM
• Safety and sanitation
• Ensuring quality and presentation of food
• Catering production to include high end board of director lunches and other special events

This position offers a traditional Business and Industry, predominantly Monday through Friday, schedule. Must be flexible to work early evenings when needed.Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

Target salry is 55K to 65K

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
