Executive Chef to support our client in Santa Clara, California as a resource position which could last up to 6 months.

SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and Sodexo. As a certified minority company, we deliver food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges and universities and aviation lounges. This strategic alliance between Magic Johnson Enterprises and The Good Eating Company, enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve.

SodexoMagic and The Good Eating Company are seeking dynamic individuals for the role of Executive Chef to support our new business in Foster City, California this position is resource position which could last up to 6 months. 

This is a hands-on Executive Chef leadership role. Our goal is to become the premier workplace hospitality brand in North America. Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for a Chef who:

• Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served
• Are strong all-round culinary ability and strong craft skills in all areas of professional cookery, including main courses; salads; sauce work; and pastry and baking
• Have a strong knowledge of food and authentic cuisine to including Indian, Latino and Asian
• Recognizing and reacting to contemporary trends
• Use of correct food terminology and cooking methods
• Constantly looking for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and service as a whole
• Play a key role and enthusiastically mentors’ culinary personnel

The Good Eating Company was cooked up in London in 1999 around the kitchen table, over several bottles of Ribera del Duero. We had the dream of bringing restaurant-quality food to onsite dining – at a time when uninspiring sandwiches and soggy salads were typically on offer. We're passionate about delectable, fresh food. Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
