SodexoMagic and The Good Eating Company are seeking dynamic individuals for the role of Executive Chef to support our new business in San Francisco, California. 

This is a hands-on Executive Chef leadership role. Our goal is to become the premier workplace hospitality brand in North America. We are obsessed with local products, culture, hospitality, great food and being best in class. We seek a strong culinary leader with a proven commitment to excellence, teamwork, and collaboration to help us achieve our vision. 

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for a Chef who:

• Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served
• Are strong all-round culinary ability and strong craft skills in all areas of professional cookery, including main courses; salads; sauce work; and pastry and baking
• Have a strong knowledge of food and authentic cuisine to including Indian, Latino and Asian
• Recognizing and reacting to contemporary trends
• Use of correct food terminology and cooking methods
• Constantly looking for new recipes and new ideas and initiatives that will improve both the quality of food and service as a whole
• Play a key role and enthusiastically mentors’ culinary personnel

The Good Eating Company was cooked up in London in 1999 around the kitchen table, over several bottles of Ribera del Duero. We had the dream of bringing restaurant-quality food to onsite dining – at a time when uninspiring sandwiches and soggy salads were typically on offer. We're passionate about delectable, fresh food. We take pride in crafting imaginative and well-balanced dishes daily, with a straightforward philosophy: collaborating with forward-thinking organizations that value their members and seek exceptional, creative dining experiences.

Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 5 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
