We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Caribbean cuisine, a creative flair for menu development, and strong leadership skills to inspire and manage a diverse kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
Menu Development: Create and innovate seasonal menus that highlight Caribbean flavors, ensuring dishes are authentic, appealing, and cost-effective.
Kitchen Management: Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork and creativity.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked while minimizing waste and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and taste, consistently monitoring dishes before they leave the kitchen.
Collaboration: Work closely with management to ensure the restaurant's culinary vision aligns with overall business goals and customer satisfaction.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations and health codes, implementing best practices in food handling and sanitation.
