Executive Chef Upscale Restaurant
$110,000 - $115,000 + Bonus

Your Role with the Company:
- Creative Control Over Menu: Lead the culinary vision with full autonomy over menu development and recipe creation, ensuring innovative and seasonal offerings
- Primary Focus on Flagship: Dedicate 90% of your time to the flagship restaurant, with 10% supporting other units in the group
- Build & Develop BOH Team: Recruit, train, and mentor the back-of-house staff, fostering a motivated and efficient kitchen team
- Control Costs: Manage food and labor costs to optimize efficiency and profitability
- Oversee Ordering & Compliance: Handle procurement, inventory, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Ensure Quality & Presentation: Maintain high standards for food quality, taste, and presentation, ensuring an exceptional guest experience
- Exceptional Presentation & Attention to Detail: Always ensure flawless presentation of dishes with an uncompromising focus on detail and precision
- Culinary Innovation: Continuously explore and implement new techniques, ingredients, and trends to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Team Leadership: Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment that encourages growth and excellence
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef of a $5M+ upscale Continental/California Cuisine restaurant
- Able to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Prior experience in successfully launching and opening new restaurant location is highly desired
- Brings a strong work ethic and a calm, composed demeanor, especially in high-pressure situations
- Encourages a respectful, open communication environment with staff, guests, and vendors
- Actively seeks opportunities for growth, staying updated on industry trends and embracing new ideas
