Position Overview
The Executive Director oversees the management, training, and direction of Recovery Managers, Counselors, and BHT Leads, supervising two or more employees. This role holds hiring and firing authority and collaborates with the Leadership and other Directors on short- and long-term strategies to align program curriculum with organizational goals. The Executive Director plays a key role in executing the facility’s mission and ensuring operational and financial sustainability.

- Knowledgeable in medication observation and self-administration practices
- Familiar with point-of-care drug testing protocols and guidelines
- Skilled in assessing risk factors, including suicide and self-harm, and responding appropriately
- Committed mentor for staff professional development
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the daily activities of Recovery Mentors, Counselors, and BHT Lead
- Ensure certification and training standards for Recovery Mentors and Counselors
- Maintain client care protocols that meet state and federal regulations
- Oversee client onboarding, family meetings, and client-counselor assignments
- Conduct weekly staff and client meetings to support team cohesion
- Remain available after hours and on weekends for emergencies
- Monitor service delivery for quality and compliance in record-keeping
- Lead group sessions with clients and facilitate annual evaluations for direct reports
- Provide direct care to clients and families as needed
- Facilitate family day programming and other family support activities
- Develop and implement both short- and long-term strategic plans
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior leadership

Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degreed – LPC/LCSW
- 5 or more years in management
- Current CPR Certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
