About the Job
As an Executive Director, Applied AI/ML, you will work closely with the Chief Data Architect to maximize data leverage across our data assets and partner closely with the Chief AI Scientist and the Applied AI Team. You will be expected to have demonstrated proficiency in multi-agent system orchestration and leveraging large-scale data ecosystems within an integrated AI architectural framework.
Job responsibilities:
- Design and architect advanced AI solutions, including traditional AI, generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Systems, orchestrators for smart search, graphs, graph neural networks, and agentic architectures.
- Develop and vet AI designs and architectures that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Architect and design enabling for prompt engineering, developing domain adapters, and fine-tuning open-source LLMs.
- Design optimized AI models to perform robustly at scale for efficiency and effectiveness in various applications.
- Establish controls , content moderation strategies and responsible practices in deploying AI solutions, ensuring ethical and effective use of AI technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, generative AI, LLMs, and related technologies.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in AI solutions and practices.
- Drive innovation through Proof of Concept implementations to vet designs and architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 10+ years of extensive experience in architecting and leading AI/ML projects within the financial services sector, with specific expertise in creating and implementing integrated ML and GenAI solutions.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on architectural frameworks integrating ML and GenAI.
- Demonstrated proficiency in multi-agent system orchestration and leveraging large-scale data ecosystems within an integrated AI architectural framework.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance standards, and the ethical considerations of implementing AI technologies.
- Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, capable of driving innovation while mentoring a team of AI professionals.
- proficient in prompt engineering, developing domain adapters, and fine-tuning open-source LLMs.
- Expertise in the model development lifecycle, MLOps, LLMOps, and hands-on experience with AWS, EKS, ECS, Databricks, and Sagemaker for model training and serving environments is required.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a holistic understanding of system architecture.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience with AI ethics and responsible AI practices is a plus.
