What you’ll do
You’ll be responsible for the operation and supervision of our Greater Columbus home health and hospice office that serves nine ( 9) counties. We will look to you to focus on strategic and financial planning, patient care, and employee and customer relations to ensure the highest degree of quality care and services are always maintained. Experience as a Home Health leader is required.
Sales and Marketing
- Oversees the development and implementation of marketing, referral source relationship management and branding strategies, systems and processes in order to achieve volume targets, communicate desired messages and maintain integrity of the organization.
- Partners with the Director of Business Development to identify, build, and sustain referral source relationships to drive admissions and revenue growth to meet budget targets.
- Reviews and approves sales marketing tools and presentations for potential
- Reviews sales reports, pipeline forecasts, and marketing budget/ROI.
- Oversees and participates in local marketing and relationship management
- Reinforces to all staff their role in marketing and admissions
- Works closely with corporate director of marketing to achieve marketing results.
Operations Management
- Provides direction, management and leadership for local operations in order to achieve the organization's philosophy, mission and strategy while effectively growing the organization and ensuring financial strength, high utilization and operating efficiency.
- Ensures systems and monitoring are in place to meet or exceed quality, customer service, utilization and compliance standards in all Home Health & Hospice programs.
- Develops and maintains written policies and procedures and ensures adherence to all
- Maintains effective and ongoing communication with life plan community staff. Facilitates positive working relationships in areas of continuum of care management, human resources, marketing and others as needed. Attends local campus board and leadership meetings.
- Ensures staff members are attending campus assessment meetings, providing service coordination to residents in hospital, and wellness clinics.
- Assumes shared leadership responsibilities for the organization’s success statewide.
- Participates in quarterly Executive Directors meetings and management
- Ensures staff participation in corporate meetings as appropriate.

Qualifications Include
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
- Nursing degree and current Ohio RN license preferred
- Master’s degree in health care or business administration preferred
- Five years of experience with fiscal accountability
- Ten years of experience in a leadership capacity for a home health care, hospice, or community organization
