Responsibilities Serves as Executive Housekeeper at a lodging property. Sets quality standards consistent with the requirements of the Army Fisher House Standards for service, operations and facilities to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive appearance of all guestrooms and public areas. Responsible for the effective management and supervision of employees to include preparation of staff schedules, development and utilization of appropriate training and incentive programs. Responsible for development and execution of department budget. Deals effectively and objectively with subordinates, supervisory and management personnel, guests, union officials, contractors, and other outside contacts. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Progressive experience which included supervising, leading, or management oversight of custodial workers/housekeepers in a hotel or similar customer service-based residential or guest facility. Must possess demonstrated knowledge of business processes required for budget development and management. Highly Preferred Criteria: Possession of a two-year hospitality related associate's degree or possession of a CHHE (Certified Hospitality Housekeeping Executive). *Certificate must be attached to application for credit. Additional Information Area of Consideration: The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is Honolulu, Hawaii and it surrounding area and surrounding area within 50-mile radius; in addition to, you are considered eligible if one of the following applies: you live outside of this area and are able to commute to work on a daily/as needed basis, or you are able to relocate yourself on your own expenses (must be able to be present for work within 2 weeks of selection). Salary Information: Salary is pro-rated based on a 40 hour work week. Hourly salary is: NF-03 $26.00ph to $30.00ph ($54,262.00 to $62,610.00 Per Year) PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
