The Executive Nursing Director of Behavioral Health requires knowledge and skill of professional nursing theory and practice, leadership in administration, principles of effective teaching, learning, and mentoring, fiscal management, and effective communication skills. . Provides leadership and support to charge nurse staff, clinical educators and clinical staff using creative leadership to ensure optimal outcomes and high-quality, compassionate patient care. The Executive Director works with medical staff and other health care professionals collaboratively. The Executive Director ensures development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent with the organization's mission, vision, values and strategic objectives.
