Job Description:
Allied Universal seeks an Executive Protection Consultant for a prominent client. The client’s Safety and Security team is responsible for physical security and environmental safety across the enterprise. The combined efforts of the safety and security professionals, and trusted third party vendors, provide a professional work environment for employees and a friendly service atmosphere for members. In an ever-changing environment, it is necessary to manage the risk to employee population during routine meeting attendance, travel, and other ad hoc events. Unlike traditional Executive Protection, this position will take a concierge approach to provided services, measuring customer service as a key driver.
This role calls for an individual that can operate independently, is detailed-oriented and can execute established protocols in demanding situations and exercise good judgement where protocols do not exists. This role requires an individual capable of interacting with leaders at all levels including executive leadership and C-Suite. Flexibility is necessary to be successful in this demanding role as short notice travel and weekend commitments are routine. An individual should expect to do many of the following in a given day:
- Conduct threat, risk and vulnerability assessments ahead of planned events or travel; identify cost-effective countermeasures and other risk mitigations to fill identified gaps
- Liaise with the physical security team and/or security contractors to ensure appropriate security measures and technology are available for deployment
- Investigate threats to employees; identify and implement safeguards to ensure employee safety
- Coordinate with external hotel/meeting or other venue security; to ensure tailored risk mitigation deployment
- Provide transportation to senior leaders
- Travel in support of organizational leaders, may include international travel
- Coordinate use and care of fleet vehicles in support of transportation requirements
- Consult with partners throughout the enterprise to ensure logistical requirements are addressed
- Regularly coordinate with Executive Assistants to understand/support planned travel
- Support business leaders in the absence of other administrative support
- Provide routine updates to supervisor and the security operations center to ensure situational awareness within the organization
- Consult with facilities and project managers during construction to ensure safety/security considerations are addressed
- Contribute to the development/refinement of standard operating procedures associated with travel and event planning and execution
- Establish and maintain relationships with maintenance and security vendors at select sites to include principle’s residence
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of previous military and/or law enforcement experience or 4 years of previous executive protection experience
- Approximately 25% travel and weekend support requirements based on business need
- Demonstrated confidentiality, sound judgment and integrity
- Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.

- Advanced Life Support Certified
