About the Job
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
• Working at the Executive level you will be responsible to hire the best leaders for SAP and to actively promote SAP in the marketplace as a destination for top leadership talent.
• We provide an extremely high touch service to all stakeholders in a recruiting process and we act as an advisor to the hiring manager to help them through the specialist activity of recruiting and act as a custodian for SAP to ensure the right hire is made in line with organizational needs.
• The Executive Recruiter will own the recruiting service delivery to allocated Hiring Managers, ensuring the right hire is made in line with global and local policy and best practice in partnership with our colleagues in HR.
• Executive Recruiters run the recruitment project; from point of Hiring Approval, we lead manager consultations, set the recruitment strategy and manage its execution through sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, hiring decision offer management to offer acceptance.
• Executive recruiters directly source external candidates for pipeline projects to fulfil future business hiring requirements. We partner with executive search vendors where appropriate to ensure acquisition of the best talent.
• Drive engagement with shortlisted candidates representing the SAP employer brand and the job opportunity.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• Understand SAP business model, organization, strategy and drivers.
• Understand the Strategy, Organization and Operations of your allocated client group/s
• Consult with the business leads to develop a clear understanding of their requirements
• Have the ability to operate effectively and act as the trusted expert in the recruiting process
• Advise on the best recruiting strategy for each and every hire
• Activate and manage the recruitment action plan
• Manage the recruitment process and deliver on local requirements e.g. WoC process and other local procedures required in the country of hire
• Identify, attract, screen and select candidates
• Advise and guide managers through the process of candidate assessment and decision making
• Manage the offer process for all hires in conjunction with our HR colleagues
• Ensure all stakeholders in the recruiting process are regularly updated on the status of recruiting for each position
• Ensure candidates are engaged with and motivated by opportunities at SAP (relationship management/ brand/employee value proposition).
• Continually evaluate and adapt recruiting strategy / plan so that improvement / efficiencies are gained.
• Ensure that you continuously improve your skills and knowledge of recruiting, selection and consulting.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Degree Level Education
• Business English essential and fluent German would be preferable
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to interact, establish credibility and influence at the Executive level
• Ability to effectively manage demanding workload and competing priorities

WORK EXPERIENCE
• 10+ years’ experience in Executive Recruiting in a corporate environment.
• Proven track record in identifying, attracting and selecting external passive talent
• Track record of Executive level business partnering
• Deep understanding SAP business, strategy and leadership models
• Knowledge of the technology sector, and core business functions
• Knowledge of the competitive landscape for Executive Talent for SAP in your region.
• Strong track record of consulting with and advising senior stakeholders
• Deep knowledge of the recruitment market in either a specific geography or functional area relevant to SAP
• Proven ability to deliver high levels of service to hiring managers and candidates.
• Experience in recruiting across multiple job skillsets
