Position Overview

Our client, a rapidly expanding retail company based in the Denver Metro Area, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive the company’s overall strategic direction and oversee all aspects of operations. The CEO will collaborate closely with the board and senior leadership to develop and execute growth strategies, manage financial performance, and ensure operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the retail sector, with a proven track record of leading successful businesses. The candidate will be required to work on-site 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the company’s strategic vision and growth initiatives to drive business performance.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term goals and objectives.
• Provide leadership to the senior management team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Collaborate with the board of directors and shareholders to ensure the company’s financial goals are met and drive overall profitability.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L, to ensure company stability and growth.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across all business functions, focusing on maximizing efficiency and profitability.
• Lead M&A activities, including identifying potential acquisitions, overseeing due diligence, and managing post-merger integration.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including investors, suppliers, and customers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management across all business areas, maintaining the highest ethical standards.
• Lead the expansion of the company into new markets, channels, and product lines, ensuring long-term business sustainability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CEO or senior executive in the retail industry, with a track record of driving business growth and profitability.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and financial acumen, with experience managing a multi-functional business.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
• Experience with M&A activities and the ability to lead acquisitions and integrations effectively.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field; MBA preferred.

• Base salary ranging from $285,000 to $305,000 per year, depending on experience.
