Position Overview
Our client, a rapidly growing company in the Philadelphia Metro Area, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial operations and provide strategic financial direction. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and executive team to drive business performance, ensure compliance, and oversee all aspects of the company’s financial strategy. This role requires a hands-on leader with experience in growth-focused environments. The candidate will work on-site 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong internal controls.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and executive leadership team to guide business decisions.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company’s growth objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital expenditure planning.
- Lead M&A activities, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-merger financial strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor and develop the finance and accounting teams to build a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive, ideally in a high-growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Experience in M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior leadership and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
