Position Overview:
Our client, a PE-backed retail company experiencing rapid growth, is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, overseeing operations, and supporting the company's ambitious growth plans. This role demands a leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and best practices.
- Provide strategic financial leadership to support business development, including M&A activities.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and long-term capital planning.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders to meet financial goals.
- Present financial performance reports to the board and investors.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA highly preferred.
- Extensive experience as a CFO or senior financial executive in a retail or PE-backed company.
- Strong understanding of retail operations and market dynamics.
- Proven experience in financial planning, strategy development, and capital management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary ranging from $275,000 to $325,000 per year, depending on experience.
