POSITION SUMMARY: Provides education and rehabilitation services to patients and their families in the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation setting to patients with both cardiac and pulmonary disease. |
EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science/Physiology/Kinesiology or Health Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science. |
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: BLS certification required ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) within one year of hire. |
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required. Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with all levels within the organization and community under varied conditions. Excellent verbal, written, organizational and critical decision-making skills required. Strong leadership and adult education skills necessary. |
