Job Title: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant – Full Time – Permanent - Day Shift – Every OTHER Wednesday & Thursday 7:45 am - 5:45 pm
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA Area
Job Overview:
As an EFDA, you'll have the chance to showcase your expanded skills and knowledge, assisting our dentist in a variety of procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals. You'll take and develop dental X-rays, manage patient records, and provide education on oral hygiene and post-operative care. And, of course, you'll do it all with a friendly and empathetic approach that makes our patients feel at ease.

Job Responsibilities Include:
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Perform expanded functions, including restorations, extractions, and root canals
Take and develop dental X-rays
Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Provide excellent customer service and patient care
Requirements:
Current licensure as an EFDA
Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting
Radiology certification
Experience - Current licensure as an EFDA
Certification - Radiology certification
