Expedited Account Representative - GetCarrier LLC

Get Carrier LLC is a full-service, asset-based 3PL, specializing in LTL, Expedited, Last Mile, Drayage, FTL, and Auto Transport. We are growing fast and are looking for an experienced and professional Expedited Account Manager. We offer a rewarding environment and are seeking someone looking for more than job. The Expedited Account Representative position is responsible for the expedited sales and solicitation process of existing and new customers and helps coordinate the daily load activities of those customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage leads provided by the Marketing Department
• Prospect for new customers and make cold calls
• Make daily calls to solicit freight from existing customers
• Accurately book all load and shipment information into the system
• Assist with bid processes and spot market pricing on all customer freight
• Provide excellent customer service and updates to shippers regarding their loads
• Build a network of expedited customers
• Achieve departmental budget and financial targets

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with expedited sales and services
• Candidates must be self-starters, organized, and effective under pressure
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with documented success
• Strong sales, customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
• Must be available to take occasional calls during the evening and weekends
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Computer experience

Compensation:

The starting salary is commensurate with experience. Position also has a performance-based bonus program.
