In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive and visually compelling experiences that enhance the overall user journey across AEM-based platforms.
The ideal candidate has a strong design background, experience with AEM's content authoring and management capabilities, and a passion for creating seamless, impactful user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design User Experiences: Conceptualize and design user experiences for AEM applications, including wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups, ensuring designs align with user needs and business goals.
Develop AEM Templates and Components: Work closely with AEM developers to define and design templates, components, and page layouts that align with best practices and allow for flexible content management.
Content Strategy and Layout: Collaborate with content strategists to create layouts and templates that present content effectively, ensuring ease of authoring and consistent user experiences.
Prototyping and User Testing: Build interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and facilitate user testing to gather feedback and validate design solutions.
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with technical and business constraints.
User-Centered Design: Use insights from research, analytics, and user feedback to inform design decisions, iterating to improve user satisfaction and engagement.
AEM Content Authoring: Leverage AEM's content authoring features to configure and structure pages, ensuring a smooth, functional experience for both end-users and content authors.
Maintain Design Consistency: Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices for AEM experiences, ensuring brand consistency and usability across platforms.
Qualifications:
Experience: [3+ years] in UX/UI design, with experience designing for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar content management systems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
Familiarity with AEM components, templates, and workflows to design within AEM's capabilities.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to collaborate effectively with developers.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions, with a focus on web and digital experiences.
Problem-solving and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret data and insights to improve user experiences.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills:
AEM Experience: Familiarity with AEM content management features, DAM, content fragments, and experience fragments.
User Research: Experience conducting or interpreting user research and usability testing.
Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira.
