Experience Specialist/Medical Receptionist - Marketplace Urgent Care

Sioux City, Iowa

PRN, as needed shifts:  Nights/Weekends/Holidays

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Medical Office Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check-in patients upon arrival.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and informative manner.
Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.
Manage patient records and ensure they are up-to-date.
Handle billing and payment processing.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
Address patient inquiries and provide information as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in outpatient clinic healthcare setting is preferred.
