The ONCO DU, Del Ops organization accelerates the delivery of innovative medicines to patients by driving portfolio strategy and program excellence through insight-based decision making. PMed Project Leadership is a capability targeted to support JRD Therapeutic areas (TAs) in program management focused on Translational Research (TR) and Diagnostics Development (Dx) sub-teams of CDTs, working closely with partners across Global Development, Clinical, Finance, IT, Global Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Business Development, External Providers and other key functions to ensure confidence, quality, and speed in the delivery of JRD's portfolio. The PMed PM organization is guided in all matters by the J&J Credo and held to J&J Leadership Performance Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under supervision of an AD PMed PM Lead for a specific ONCO DAS area, the Analyst will be accountable for the day-to-day project management support of translational research (TR) project teams.
- Provide PM capabilities in team collaborations, enabling technology (MS Teams/SharePoint) and process for driving project milestones, track actions, follow ups and conduct detailed management in planning via financial systems (PLW/User Community Tool (UCT), Beacon) to support clinical development plans.
- In Partnership with TR team members (ex. TR Leads and BDO, biomarker & diagnostic operations), enable tracking and visibility of key timelines, milestones, work deliverables, risks & reasons to those risks, forecast variance and financial accounting for actual spend.
- Support Discovery/ED/MAF PMed Portfolio/Core Priority projects
- The candidate will be accountable to partner with Finance and support TR team activities across ONCO portfolio within designated DAS program/project/trial use and maintain high data quality & financial visibility for all continuous forecast cycles as well as business planning through reporting (Tableau/Visualization tools)
- This individual contributor will be an active member of PMed PM team, supporting applicable process flows and participating in organizational initiative, process improvements, capability development, technology knowledge, helping project teams drive data driven decisions.
- Working knowledge of planning tools (PLW E7/UCT/MSP) and financial tools (ex. Beacon/eMP).
- Working knowledge of Tableau & other reporting capabilities
- Deliver high data quality by focusing on any mismatches/metrics/KPIs for assigned portfolio
- Provide ongoing partnership & communication between PMed PM team and business partners
- Attend and represent PMed as a member of the Project Management Team (PMT)
- Provide PM support for cross-functional planning, budgeting, and resourcing while managing KEM and facilitating issue resolution to deliver trial milestones on time and per scope
- Provide proactive risk management
- Support request for scenario development and critical path analysis
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in the scientific field with hands on lab experience is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of forecasting/planning experience working with PLW system required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required
- Experience in working within global team environment is preferred.
- The candidate must work with great accuracy, be customer- and service-focused.
- Strong time management and setting priorities
- Operational and data analytical skills (including knowledge of Microsoft office tools especially those associated with Excel, MS project, Tableau, etc.) are preferred.
- There will be no travel requirement
- Proficient in spoke/written English language
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $77,000 to 124,200.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
