About the Job
The bookkeeper is responsible for numerous financial, accounting, and tax reporting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and key valid invoice information into the applicable software
- Daily interaction with vendors to quickly resolve issues and provide follow-up as needed.
- Work with divisions to ensure compliance with Accounts Payable guidelines.
- Willing to accept other Accounts Payable duties as assigned.
Talent Requirements:
- B.A. or B.S. in Accounting or applicable experience of five (5) years or more.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications – Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
- General accounting as well as purchasing cycle knowledge is helpful.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple fast-paced projects.
- Ability to meet deadlines, particularly before month end.
- QuickBooks experience is a must
- Experience in Forecasting
