Nesco Resource has a long-standing client in need of 2 experienced CNC Horizontal Machinists.
 
Job title: Experience CNC Horizontal Machinist
Location: Cleveland, OH
Shift:  2^nd (2:30 to 11:00 pm on an 8 hour schedule Monday through Friday/ 4:30 pm to 3:00 am when OT is needed)
Salary: $22 to $25 an hour based on experience
 
Job duties to include but not limited to:

• Load/unload components into fixtures manually, or using overhead hoists, following pre- determined work instructions
• Inspect finished machined components to pre-determined work instructions using supplied gages referenced above.
• Perform all tooling changes in machine(s) and adjust offsets in the CNC control.

• Prior background with CNC Horizontal (Vertical Machining Center experience will be considered).
• Understand CNC "G" and "M" code programming
• MUST have the ability to use and read Inspection Gauges such as Micrometers, Calipers, Thread Gauges, Bore Gauges, Etc.
• MUST have experience in machine tooling including the ability to set-up tooling and adjust tool offsets in the machine's CNC control. Prior use of a Tool Presetter a plus.
• MUST have the ability to lift 50 lbs. Consistently
• Pass a preemployment screening
• MUST be able to work Overtime Weekdays and Saturday's, as required by schedule.
