About ABA Therapy:
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically validated approach that improves behavior through the application of behavioral principles. ABA therapy helps individuals with autism and other developmental disorders by enhancing essential skills and improving their overall quality of life.
Your Role Includes:
- Delivering ABA interventions to clients in their homes, school, or community environments
- Utilizing AAC devices and conducting task analysis to support effective communication and learning.
- Collecting, recording, and analyzing data on client progress, and preparing reports under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
- Coordinating with program staff to ensure the consistency and effectiveness of therapy programs.
- Providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding daily activities and client progress.
- Implementing and refining individualized ABA therapy programs.
- Demonstrating a willingness to learn, receiving constructive feedback, and adapting to role requirements.
- Working independently or as part of a team as needed, with reliable transportation for client visits (we do not provide client transportation).
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be available for 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Certified RBT, with specific experience working with teens or adults.
- Hands-on experience with AAC devices and task analysis is highly preferred.
- RBT certification is required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet the physical demands of the role.
- Willingness to obtain In-Person First Aid/CPR certification.
- Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and up-to-date insurance are necessary.
