• Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate excavators and other heavy equipment for commercial excavation tasks, including trenching, grading, digging, and loading.
• Project Execution: Execute tasks based on project plans and specifications, ensuring precision in all excavation activities.
• Utility Installation: Assist with utility work (water, sewer, storm drain, conduits) and other site preparation activities.
• Site Safety: Adhere to all company safety protocols and perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordination with Team: Collaborate closely with the crew, foreman, and other equipment operators to meet project timelines and deliver high-quality work.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and report equipment issues to supervisors for timely repair and maintenance.
• Site Cleanliness: Ensure worksite is clean and organized, and equipment is safely stored after each shift.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Excavator Operator in the commercial excavation field.
  • Experience with Heavy Equipment machines over 100k lb is a must, NOT just forklifts and mini-machines.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficient in operating heavy equipment, specifically excavators, with knowledge of site grading, trenching, and utility installation techniques.
• Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety practices in excavation and construction environments.
• Communication Skills: Ability to follow instructions, work well with the team, and communicate effectively with supervisors.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of working in various weather conditions and able to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus but not required.
