Experienced Service Advisor
Lone Star Cadillac is seeking to acquire a qualified, enthusiastic, and experienced Service Advisor to join our rapidly expanding Service Center. The Service Advisor will contribute a more dynamic and collaborative environment, fostering a sense of belonging for all customers and employees. Additionally, the Service Advisor will provide estimated cost analysis of automotive repairs and routine maintenance.

Job Duties:
- Prepares and advises on service estimates, sells routine maintenance, repair services, and follow-up regarding unsold services and customers.
- Effectively speaks and advises customers on service recommendations for routine maintenance. The Service Advisor assists in identifying mechanical problems by questioning the customer and/or doing a visual inspection or road test.
- Prepares a repair order indicating time and labor estimates for recommended service. The Service Advisor maintains contact with the technicians to ensure the work is completed in a timely manner.
- Schedules appointments, responds to phone calls, and collects funds for services. The Service Advisor assists in the coordination of alternate transportation, rental car reservations, and shuttle services.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail while assisting and consulting with customers. Establishes a promised time. The Service Advisor checks with the dispatcher if necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time without resting. (Up to 5 hours)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively to employees, managers, and customers.
- 2-3 years experience is required. Pay is based on experience.
