About the Job
An award-winning personal injury law firm is expanding its team and seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation and/or general litigation and a strong commitment to client representation.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation or general litigation preferred
- Proficiency in taking and defending depositions, handling discovery, drafting and arguing motions, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations
- Must have some trial experience
- Capability to manage multiple cases from intake to completion
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong academic background from an ABA-approved law school preferred
- Team player with the ability to thrive in a collegial office environment
- Licensed in Illinois and in good standing
