Experiential Marketing Specialist - BMW Of North America

About the Job
You will establish additional business opportunities to market the BMW vehicle product portfolio by targeting new, current, and unknown customers at various consumer events, industry / trade shows/exhibits (CES), BMW Group Sales events and individual and regional dealer events. The focus is on creating product awareness, educating the customer of product features and benefits, lead generation and driving sales across all product and service categories.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish overall event schedule and implement all aspects of PBE, ABBS, Driving Programs by:
- Provide direction for Registration Website, Event App, and attendee experience.
- Assign and direct event team of over 30 individuals daily on-site Roles and Responsibilities.
- Prepares Logistics for approximately 300 vehicle fleet.
- Prepares smaller on-site meetings.
- Provides Run of Show and multiple attendee paths for on-site experience.
- Provides direction and procedures for internals as well as leads a group of 5-25 externals depending on venue.
- Determines Food & Beverage requirements including receptions, group meals, coffee breaks and staff meals.
Financials - RFP -Budget
- Facilitate RFP process for all vendors including Production, Exhibit Services, Travel and Venue.
- Review and reconcile all final invoices including venue, production, exhibit and travel/logistics.
- Cross charge Booth Services and AV costs to Depts.
- Monitor and process up to $10M+budget.
- Analyze budgetary spend throughout planning stages and provides post event budget summary.
Communications
- Main point of contact for conference attendee's pre/onsite and post event. Compose and distributes all pre/post event communications to internal/external partners for conference including:
- Regional Field Teams
- BMW Group/International attendees
- Dealer Network
- Agency Partners
- Support the development and strategy for lead generation including National Driving Experience programs and vehicle logistics.
- Develop and execute feature vehicles, vehicle moves, program logistics.
- Manage the vendor/supplier (including RFP) for Driving Programs and National programs.
- Lead the planning and develop synergies with other departments to maximize the efficiencies of coordinating trips to reduce overall costs to BMW NA
- Coordinate travel for participants.
- Reconcile budgets for UDEOT which includes $1.5M+ of dealer co-op funds.
- Communicate with field personnel, dealer personnel and management.

The pay range for this role is: $69,204 - $82,989.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years' experience in Event Marketing or Business-related areas
- Project or event management experience
- Strong understanding of BMW product lines and services
- Travel may be required up to 50% of the time
- This includes weekend and/or hours outside of core work hours
- Excellent written/verbal/communication skills
- Overnight Travel will be required (40%)
