Expert Help Sr Analyst - H&R Block

Hours of Operation:
May - Dec M-F 9:00 am - 5:00 pm CST
Jan - April, Sunday - Saturday, 8:00 am - 9:00 pm (You must be capable of working the starting or closing shift.)

The Expert Help Chat team offers real-time assistance to Do-it-yourself clients during their tax preparation process. As a Senior Tax Research Analyst, you will be required to: 

Support DIY clients by researching and answering their tax and program-related questions as they complete their taxes.

Provide project updates both within the department and to other H&R Block departments.

Perform independent research and analysis of federal, state, local and international tax issues and forms. Monitor and provide support to agents by assisting with tax-related inquiries and ensuring accurate and timely responses.

Research, analyze, and evaluate current year tax questions, tax forms, and other tax related issues to determine potential impact for H&R Block and its operations, and provide guidance as needed.

Participate in day-to-day projects to identify and resolve either tax-related or work-related issues. Lead research team projects to provide tax guidance to other departments and operations within H&R Block and stream department operations.

Provide written and verbal updates, as needed, on any identified new developments in tax law, including legislative changes, court decisions, and administrative guidance.
