Responsibilities:
Diesel Technicians at Freightliner Northwest:
- Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
- Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems.
- Knowledge in diagnostics with Cat, Cummins & Detroit, ABS & transmissions systems.
- Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
- Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.
- Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
- Develop technical skills through training opportunities
- Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.

Qualifications:
Heavy equipment dealership experience definitely helps; three years or more preferred. Bring your strong mechanical aptitude, team player mentality and belief in safety first to Team FNW.
