Rayco Exteriors is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Exterior Reconstruction Surveyor to play a key role in assessing and surveying multifamily and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough on-site evaluations of properties, ensuring all exterior components are accurately measured and documented to assist in the estimation and reconstruction process.

• Conduct full walk-around assessments of multifamily and commercial buildings to understand the job scope for the estimation process.
• Measure exteriors for square footage, focusing on stucco and paint measurements.
• Identify stucco damage and repairs needed.
• Count and inspect windows and doors, as well as exterior wood and trim for necessary repairs (fascia, soffits, etc.).
• Take photos, survey the site, and mark areas of concern for the sales and estimation teams.
• Remain on-site as necessary to complete full assessments, which may require multiple days.
• Provide accurate measurements and detailed reports to the sales team for creating estimates and bids.
• Collaborate with clients and make an impression on-site to support project acquisition.
• Ensure everything is confirmed upfront for a smooth installation process.

• Carpentry experience with a deep understanding of exterior trim repairs, tools, and time estimates.
• Estimating experience in exterior construction projects.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately survey multifamily properties (ranging from 30 to 300 units).
• Experience working with exterior components such as balconies, rough carpentry, siding, stucco, windows/doors, railing systems, roofing, and waterproofing.
• Ability to climb ladders and inspect second-story components, if needed.
• Familiarity with take-offs and the ability to compile and maintain accurate data for estimating purposes.
• A professional demeanor with the ability to make a positive impact on-site.
• A clean driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on collaboration with clients, the sales team, and internal staff.
