Your Impact
The Extraction Technician is responsible for the facility's overall extraction process and day-to-day production following established protocols and regulations. The Extraction Technician will ensure that all extractions are performed with attention to strict company quality and safety standards, regulatory compliance, and all other applicable legal requirements.
What You'll Do (Personnel Duties, Authority, and Responsibilities)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other responsibilities and projects may be assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.
- Responsible for safely running extraction equipment and purging equipment
- Prepares cannabis material for extraction
- Keeps cannabis material prep zone clean
- Weighs and documents cannabis material prior to prep
- Transports cannabis material from the prep zone to the extraction building
- Transports cannabis waste from both the prep zone and extraction building to the cannabis waste container
- Tracks and reports extraction weight to the Director of Manufacturing and or Lab Manager.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a Facility Agent Card through the State.
- A minimum of six (6) months of cannabis extraction experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills, ideally with experience using Windows-based PC programs.
- Flexible scheduling with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly exposed to strong cannabis odors and is frequently required to handle cannabis products. Exposure to environmental particles such as pollen and plant pathogens. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
