Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machines, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Set up and operate extrusion machines to produce high-quality plastic products.
· Monitor the production process and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and efficiency.
· Perform regular maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
· Troubleshoot and repair machine issues as needed.
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Maintain accurate production records and reports.
· Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency

· High school diploma or equivalent.
· At least 2 years of experience operating extrusion machines in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
· Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.

Education and/or Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· At least 2 years of experience operating extrusion machines in a manufacturing environment

Able to communicate and comprehend in the English Language to perform the duties of this position. Able to read and comprehend instructions and general business material. Able to write clear and concise business correspondence. Able to clearly communicate with customers in person, via the telephone, and via e-mail and convey the intended meaning.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud and PPE is required.
