Extrusion Machine Operator Pay  :  $24.21/hour  (New Hope, MN)

Extrusion Machine Operator Shifts Available: 

• Day Shift           7am-3pm   M-F
• Night Shift         3pm-11pm M-F
• Overnight Shift  11pm-7am M-F

Extrusion Machine Operator Job Overview:  This position is a valuable, highly technical role.  You will be responsible for operating a mixer and extrusion machine to drive maximum product output while maintaining quality and safety standards.  You will do machine setup, changeover and trouble shooting and be responsible for the proper blends of raw ingredients. 

Extrusion Machine Operator  Key Requirements:

• 1 year minimum of extrusion machine operating experience in a high speed manufacturing environment
• Able to bend, crouch, kneel, sit, stand and lift up to 50 lbs
• Looking for long term employment in a team based, high speed production environment

Extrusion Machine Operator

Extrusion Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Review extrusion machine, press and dryer machines for correct operational settings according to standard operating procedures
• Monitor and adjust production settings and trouble shoot machines in order to achieve quality specifications and achieve scheduled poundage goal for each production run.
• Evaluate and correct machine stoppages without close supervision. 
• Prepare for extrusion machine setup changes according to the production schedule and ensure the proper blends of raw ingredients are used
• Maintain dies (selecting, preparing, washing, storing) and perform additional duties including:  preparing ingredient hoppers, recording ingredient usage, proper disposal of containers, and superstack machine operation
