Position Summary
Successful Profile Technicians enjoy the challenges of working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment while safely completing the processes associated with manufacturing order specific profiles beginning with our raw materials, handling quality checks, and then packaging the finished product.
Hiring shifts: 2nd and 3rd 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday; and 12-hour overnight shifts with every other weekend off.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensure correct materials in appropriate quantities are supplied to the production lines.
· Can successfully complete line/equipment start up.in a timely manner.
· Possess the ability to perform color and tool changeover while operating profile lines with established procedures.
· Perform quality checks to meet client specifications for color, pattern, length, and width.
· Perform regular daily and weekly equipment preventative maintenance (PM’s) such as, inspections, care, cleaning of equipment.
· Ability to compare colors and patterns quickly and accurately while promoting quality accuracy and thoroughness in measurement for data recording.
· Complete adjustments to production lines in order to maintain adherence to customer specification, quality standards, and productivity of lines including both equipment and process adjustments.
Complete and accurate documentation of production, scrap, run conditions, and other key data.
· Troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
· Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
· Ability and desire to work in a team-based environment where decision making is at the team level.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Forklift operation.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extrusion experience a plus.
Mathematical Skills
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud and PPE is required. Appropriate hearing protection while in the plant is required as noise levels within the facility meet OSHA requirements for hearing protection equipment.
