About the Job
A local non-profit is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Receptionist. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors to our agency. The Receptionist is responsible for answering, screening and forwarding incoming calls and directing visitors to the right person or department; provide customer service to individuals entering the agency and assist Operations and Human Resources with a variety of tasks.

- Professional attitude and appearance
- Must have excellent telephone etiquette
- Demonstrate ability to take detailed messages
- Ability to work with the public in a pleasant manner
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hands on experience with office equipment
Ultimately, duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION:
- providing customer service in our store front to our customers including but not limited to the sale of
- Shredding service
- Brooms
- Tools
- Receiving and fulfillment of uniforms this requires
- receiving the order, pull the requested apparel, package, and send to the shipping department
- update records electronically and paper copies
- Receiving and fulfillment of rest area supplies to include but not limited to
- First Aid Supplies
- Rags
- Safety equipment
- other miscellaneous items
- assist with the scheduling of shredding and with data entry associated with it
