Pay: Between $26-$36/hr.
Job Title: Fabrication Lead
Overview: The Fabrication Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing fabrication operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining a safe work environment. This position reports to the Fabrication Foreman and is vital in meeting production schedules and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily reports and audits to ensure accurate job time management and efficiency.
Prioritize workload to meet production schedules, including expedited orders.
Train and mentor team members in welding operations and departmental processes.
Develop and maintain work instructions to standardize operations and support training.
Collaborate with other department leads to resolve manufacturing issues and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment adhering to company safety standards.
Key Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; LEAN Manufacturing / Six Sigma training preferred.
Minimum five years of experience in a leadership role within a fabrication or similar environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read blueprints and use basic PC-based tools.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
