Job Title: Fabricator
Job Description
Layout, fit, fabricate, and assemble components for Heat Processing Equipment. Work includes assembly, dismantling, and repair activities.
Responsibilities
+ Layout, position, align, and fit components together.
+ Clamp and tack weld parts to secure proper positioning for welding.
+ Set up equipment and weld parts using Stick, ARC, MIG, TIG, and alloy welding techniques as needed.
+ Assemble parts by welding and riveting methods, ensuring structures are square and level.
+ Perform tasks with sheet metal, including fabricating oven panels, spot welding, and applying insulating materials.
+ Perform welding, cutting, and grinding on plate and structural components.
+ Repair or modify products through dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembly.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in welding and fabrication.
+ Proficiency in Stick, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.
+ Ability to work with carbon steel and structural steel 1/4"+ gauge thick.
+ Ability to pass a welding and quick math test.
+ Experience in bending metal and cutting angles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Fabrication is the main skill set.
+ Certification is not required.

Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with potentially high noise levels. Candidates must have work boots (steel toe not required). The position involves 25% welding and the remaining time fabricating, building, prepping material, and installing insulation.
