Responsibilities:- Build replacement guards, brackets, chutes, and other parts as needed for our manufacturing processes
- Create newly fabricated parts that fit our processes with limited guidance in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain an inventory of tooling and materials needed to supply parts to be made in the fabrication shop
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on shop equipment
- Study specifications such as blueprints, sketches and models and visualize product to determine materials required and machine use needed
- Examine standard or previously used part transfer and/or other part containment systems to determine improvement in design
- Suggest actions for continuous improvement to products, processes or systems and verify the implementation of solutions
- Demonstrate safety, 5S standards, cGMP requirements and collaboration with others in all actions
- HS Diploma/GED and 2-4 year degree or apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in tooling
- Basic drawing skills, both traditional and CAD
- Functional knowledge of trigonometry, metallurgy, shop theory and blueprint reading
- Experience with MIG, TIG and stick welding
- Basic computer use including Excel, Word and CAD software, Solidworks
- Possess a complete set of precision tools
- Demonstrated safety record when using all shop equipment
