GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Provide general building upkeep and maintenance which may include plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and grounds keeping. Directly responsible for cleanliness inside and outside of assigned clinics. Maintain a plan for fire evacuation and disaster response. Pick up and deliver supplies for maintenance and janitorial services. Maintain company vehicle if assigned. Perform other duties as requested by the Facilities Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general building maintenance and repair. This duty is performed Daily, about 30% of the time.
- Maintain building exterior and grounds. This duty is performed Daily, about 20% of the time.
- Complete Work Order requests in a timely manner. This duty is performed Daily, about 20% of the time.
- Purchase and deliver supplies to assigned facilities. This duty is performed Weekly, about 10% of the time.
- Oversee maintenance to company vehicle, if assigned. This duty is performed Weekly, about 5% of the time.
- Assemble and install furniture. This duty is performed Monthly, about 5% of the time.
- Oversee maintenance of HVAC systems of all assigned clinics. This duty is performed Monthly, about 5% of the time.
- Check fire extinguishers, exit lights, emergency lights, stairwells, and egress access. This duty is performed Monthly, about 5% of the time.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc. plus 3 years related experience and/or training. and Not Required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Under GENERAL SUPERVISION where standard practice enables the employee to PROCEED ALONE on routine work, referring all questionable cases to supervisor.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

CONSIDERABLE RESPONSIBILITY with regard to GENERAL ASSIGNMENTS in planning time, method, manner, and/or sequence of performance of own work; may also OCCASIONALLY assist in the planning of work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.
