About the Job
- Testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities-related services
- Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
- Occasional field and laboratory testing
- Assisting with preparation of reports, proposals, and projects
- Assisting with projects as needed
- Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects
- Scheduling and oversight of facilities technicians
- Mentoring other staff
- Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE
- High School Diploma or GED required; B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree from an ABET accredited college/university preferred
- 0-2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience required
In lieu of education, 4 years as ECS Facilities Staff Associate or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education required. Experience with non-destructive testing preferred.
