THIS ROLE'S MISSION
We're seeking a Facilities Coordinator to physically support our existing hospitals while creating efficient processes to open future VEG hospitals. You will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of facilities management for our 80-+ hospitals, including routine maintenance, unscheduled repairs, vendor management, after-hours service calls, and as-needed projects to help the department stay organized and efficient, all in service of our 24-hour hospitals. You will help coordinate repairs and maintenance for specialized medical equipment. Your goal is to keep our hospitals in peak operating condition and provide the best possible customer service to our hospital employees.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Coordinate and manage emergency, scheduled, and unscheduled repairs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, glass & carpentry, in addition to any other facility-related issues as they arise.
This is a hybrid role and will be expected to sit in our headquarters (White Plains, NY) 3 days per week; routine travel to our hospital locations may be required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Coordinate and manage emergency, scheduled, and unscheduled repairs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, glass & carpentry, in addition to any other facility-related issues as they arise.

- Assist with dispatch and coordination of medical equipment repairs & maintenance. (You will split your time between focusing on medical equipment and traditional facilities).
- On-board vendors into the ServiceChannel platform
- Manage warranty repairs with General Contractors for newly opened hospitals
- Assists the department with the planning of repairs, maintenance, and capital improvement projects as needed
- Set up preventative maintenance contracts and service providers for new VEG locations
- Routinely prepare and update work orders via ServiceChannel
- Communicate with hospital management daily to obtain feedback and recommendations to meet and exceed operational standards
- Expected to operate with a sense of urgency
- On-call 24/7 for the support and coordination of any emergency repair
This is a hybrid role and will be expected to sit in our headquarters (White Plains, NY) 3 days per week; routine travel to our hospital locations may be required.
- 2-3 years of experience in Facilities Management
- No experience is required with medical equipment - this training can be provided
- Be extremely organized with the ability to retain and document institutional knowledge
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Must excel at customer service; ensuring timely, positive, and proactive communication with relevant parties
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Can conform to and be flexible with shifting priorities, demands, and timelines using analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Availability for after-hours support for a 24-hour business
- Ability to work with all levels of hospital staff within & outside of Facilities
- Self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a
