General Summary of Position:
The Facilities Engineer is responsible for performing, assisting, and/or overseeing all manufacturing/facilities maintenance activities such that the business ca n meet or exceed all customer expectations by creating a culture of service excellence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Trade School Certification or Associates degree in applicable trade (preferred)
- 5 to 10 years of direct experience in a related maintenance role
- Experience with programming and modifying PLC for existing and improved process control
- Experience with integrating actuators and sensors into programs for process control
- Experience with designing and implementing process controls and improvements
- Knowledge of general maintenance and repairs in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to repair equipment and fabricate solutions
- Must be able to work with and or around hazardous chemicals
- Must be able to work outside of normal business hours to support the business
- Ability to work with and follow instructions from supervisors and/or other Facilities Engineer(s)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to think analytically
- Prolonged periods standing and walking
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Can work independently and collaboratively as a team member to meet goals
- Meets or exceeds our internal and external customers' expectations consistently
- Ability to be positive during difficult or challenging situations
