About the Job
Job Summary:
- Candidate will perform facilities and equipment maintenance for a single Chick-fil-A location.
- This is a new role! Candidate will need to be FLEXIBLE in working through responsibilities and systems.
- Candidate must enjoy LEARNING new equipment. This will involve reading manuals, reviewing schematics, and calling manufacturers.
- Role can be 20-40 hours weekly depending on the candidate’s preference and skillset.
- IMPORTANT!!! If greater than 15-20 hours per week is desired, the remainder the time will be operational (WORKING IN THE KITCHEN or HOSPITALITY!)

PAY / Hourly Rates:
- Pay will be commensurate with previous experience and demonstrated skill set
- Pay range is approximately $18 - $24 hourly
Job Description:
- Reports to General Manager and Operations Director
- EQUIPMENT INCLUDES a broad range: from fryers, to toasters, to refrigeration, to ovens, to food warmers, to food mixers, to dishwasher, to ice machines, to beverage dispensers, to floor scrubber, and MUCH MORE
- MAINTENANCE INCLUDES a broad range: HVAC Preventative Maintenance (P&M), roof maintenance, painting, caulking, grouting, power-washing, limited welding, limited electrical, limited plumbing, and MUCH MORE
- MISCELLANEOUS equipment/ maintenance includes: irrigation system, playground, vent hood cleaning, various equipment CLEANING window cleaning, door sweep/ gasket, seating, fly prevention lights, drains, fire extinguishers, and MUCH MORE

- Must enjoy LEARNING and TROUBLESHOOTING.
- Must LEARN how to use Chick-fil-A’s facilities and equipment TRACKING SYSTEM
- Must appreciate COST and TIME EFFICIENCY. A primary goal of this position is to reduce the cost and various effects of a poorly maintained building and equipment.
- Must work well with others. The facilities manager works in his area of expertise while allowing our restaurant operations team to focus on leading their teams. Both facilities and the operations team WORK TOGETHER to serve our guests a remarkable experience.
- Must be able to COMMUNICATE effectively to the operations team.
- Must have GOOD ATTITUDE and be PLEASANT to work with.
