About the Job
Responsibilities
- Responsible for oversight of building maintenance contracts
- Coordinates and monitors vendor service calls
- Maintains warehouse space, to include equipment and tools, in an orderly manner
- Operates material handling lifts to move materials and equipment as needed
- Responsible for shipping, receiving, and tracking of equipment
- Tracks deliveries, and picks up equipment from vendors/stores as needed
- Performs monthly fire extinguisher checks
- Tracks maintenance schedules for office systems and equipment
- Maintains and operates office machines (printers, fax machines, shredders)
- Monitors offices supply inventory
- Responsible for oversight of cleaning crew
- Communicates with landlord, and submits and monitors building maintenance requests
- Responsible for tracking facility access badges and building keys
- Coordinates with Facility Security Officer during site visits and annual facility inspections
- Runs company errands as necessary
- Assists in the overall maintenance of the facility
- Participates in special projects as requested
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6+ years of facilities support experience
- Proficient in Excel and Outlook
- Experience with WASP inventory system strongly preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required
- Self-starter with positive attitude and ability to learn quickly and accomplish tasks on time
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to effectively prioritize and multitask
- Strong communication skills
- Able to climb ladders and operate basic warehouse equipment
- Capable of lifting and moving supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to obtain/maintain security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship
