Facilities Maintenance Assistant at Micro Tech

Manufacturer needs a Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join their team
This is a permanent position paying $24+/HR., working full time, Monday through Friday 6:00AM-3:00PM.

Candidates will be responsible for:

Preventative maintenance tasks
Painting, changing lightbulbs, electrical repairs
Use of hand and power tools
Fabricate new production/process equipment, fixtures & jigs
Aid in the overall maintenance of the facility
Handle additional assignments as required
Welding experience is a plus
Other duties as assigned by maintenance supervisor

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years’ experience in the maintenance & repair of electro-mechanical equipment
2+ years’ experience in facility maintenance
Ability to read blueprints & perform basic shop math
Ability to work in a team environment
Must be able to stand for up to 9 hours per day
Ability to perform all duties as assigned by management
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Clean driving record (valid drivers license)
Must be able to pass preemployment drug test and physical test
