Location: Dekalb Peachtree Airport, Atlanta, GA
Schedule:
- Position 1: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Position 2: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure to meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and appearance. Working as part of our team at Aero Centers, this individual will support daily maintenance operations, respond to requests, and perform scheduled maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct repairs and adjustments to maintain safety standards across the facility and grounds.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment for wear and repair needs; replace defective components as needed.
- Assist with facility upgrades, such as remodeling, painting, and equipment installation.
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and parts/equipment used.
- Collaborate with team members to identify improvement opportunities for operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts (6:00 am – 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm).
- Pay range $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
