Minimum starting pay is $22/hr with shift differential pay and potential for overtime. This position is great for an individual who has maintenance experience in healthcare or commercial buildings. This individual has the ability to troubleshoot electric pumps and motors, low voltage, lighting, plumbing and some carpentry skills are preferred.
What You Will Do:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and systems throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Install tests, maintain and repair mechanical machinery, equipment and systems as scheduled or needed.
- Perform utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external trades.
- Inspect and test equipment.
- Document and maintain records of inspections and work performed pursuant to departmental policies and warranty/vendor requirements.
- Requisition materials and supplies, maintain inventory.
- Respond to emergency calls in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Maintenance Professional specializing in Mechanics preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Previous healthcare or commercial building experience preferred.
- Previous building technician, facilities technician, and maintenance engineers encouraged to apply.
