The Position:
The Facilities Manager will direct and oversee all activities related to the facilities including the property, building, services/utilities, permitting, equipment, machinery and waste streams. This individual will manage their team of direct reports and third-party vendors to ensure all items related to the above functions are adequate, functioning, properly maintained, performing optimally and comply with regulations/licensing.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage service and utility contracts with third party vendors
- Manage and oversee seasonal facility, property and building services and needs
- Responsible for conducting training and compliance with local, state and federal safety standards (i.e. – OSHA, HAZWOPER, SDS, GIS, etc.)
- Manage and oversee implementation of new equipment, machinery or services
- Responsible for maintaining all facilities, property, building and equipment at the highest standard for safety and cleanliness.
- Responsible for janitorial services including garbage, bathrooms, floors, etc.
- Responsible for ISO and AS compliant documentation system for facilities, equipment and machinery maintenance.
- Oversee DEEP permitting and licensing process including testing, inspections, reporting and updates to requirements.
- Responsible manager for a team of people including development, coaching, training, mentoring and providing guidance/direction.
About You:
- HSD/GED and a two-year degree from technical/trade school - electrical, mechanical, machinist, etc. Bachelor’s degree or higher in some field related to Building Services Engineering,
Operations/Business Management, etc. is highly preferred. - At least 8 years of overall maintenance and manufacturing experience and 5 years overseeing and managing maintenance department and personnel.
- At least 3-5 years overall facilities management experience including third party vendor management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and ERP functionality
- Seasoned professional with experience working with third party vendors, local and state
Representatives as well as experience with DEEP permitting and licensing. - A responsible and reliable employee who has a solid work ethic and drive to become a valuable asset to the company.
